No Sanctuary
08:51
|
|||
Trees obscuring your sight -
availing now to reveal
a glimpse of towers ahead,
fueling your weakening lungs.
Hope more precious than air
in this relentless chase.
Stone turrets so tall;
safe through an iron door.
A cry echoing far -
truly bereft of a soul.
At last a place of respite,
barred inside this great hall.
Succumbing to mortal fatigue;
sleeping now as the dead.
Awakened by light of day
to find danger renewed.
What was once sanctuary
leads to a new doom.
Refuge from the great hunter -
prey for another.
Through the hollow halls we run, run.
Through the hollow halls we run.
What was once sanctuary
leads to a new doom.
Refuge from the great hunter -
prey for another.

Halocline
10:13
|
|||
Riders crest the dunes, spilling sand.
These the hourglass, counting now.
Seething waves arise, breaching stone.
Here the tributes march, counting down.
Shell adorned, forlorn - gazes low.
These their only bounds - faith and hope.
Before them looms the cave, gaping wide.
Shadow haloed pool - the time is now.
Spear-men take their aim, find their marks.
Marbled red and blue waters swirl.
Clear and pallid meet - eyes agape.
Swallowing regret, gasping foam.
Shimmering ahead, halocline -
Portal to the dead, maybe life.
Sand choked steps and grief salted sea;
Limestone caverns flow.
Blood, sand, salt and stone.
Flesh, sand, salt and sea.
Blood, sand, salt, and stone.
Flesh, sand, salt and sea.

Red Sun, Red Moon
08:55
|
|||
Cinereal snowfall;
jaundiced sky burned to black.
Naive day seduced by night -
witness the bloom of the flesh moon.
In the sulfuric rain,
all are blind.
In the sulfuric rain,
I come for you.
Come with me into the void;
come with me away.
And as I walk through the veil,
I see you there.
And as I walk through the veil,
I come for you.
Come with me into the void;
come with me away.
